EV battery manufacturer Neuron Energy has unveiled its lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility with an annual output of 1.5 GWh.

The facility in Chakan, Pune, spans 5 acres and will produce high-performance lithium-ion batteries for a diverse range of applications, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers (L3 and L5 categories), golf carts, drones, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and telecom solutions.

The facility is built with an Rs 25 crore investment and houses a 6,500 sq. ft. experience centre to showcase Neuron’s advanced technologies and a 5,000 sq. ft. research and development centre focused on continuous innovation in energy storage.
