The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has solicited proposals for the EPC upgrade of the Salon-Jais-Jagdishpur road stretch of NH-931A.
The current highway will be upgraded from design chainage kilometre 0.000 to km 5.740 to a four-lane divided carriageway, and from design chainage km 5.740 to km 53.500 to a two-lane paved carriageway (total design length 53.500 km). This will be done in conjunction with a one-time enhancement in four realigned/bypassed built-up regions totaling 19.732 km in Uttar Pradesh.
The Rs 461.94 crore contract also includes the rehabilitation of existing pavement, as well as the building and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, and drains.
