Mitsubishi Electric has commissioned its new air-conditioner compressor manufacturing plant in Chennai.
The company has invested Rs. 2,100 crore in the facility.
The plant will manufacture compressors for residential and commercial air conditioners. It will cater to both domestic demand and export markets.
The unit strengthens Chennai’s electronics and appliances manufacturing ecosystem.
