Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd. (MEIL) has bagged the order from Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).
The order is related to the construction of Shirdi Airport’s new terminal building.
Spread over 55,000 sqm new passenger terminal and supporting infrastructure in the future will be able to handle 1200 passengers per hour (600 arriving & 600 departing).
The project is to be executed in EPC mode. MADC had invited RFQ applications for the terminal’s civil construction work in March 2023 with a Rs. 527 crore estimate and 2 year completion deadline. They received 3 applications in May 2023.
MADC completed evaluation in October 2023 and invited RfP price or financial bids from 2 firms – IRCON International Ltd. and Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd. (MEIL).
