For the construction of a coal handling facility (CHP) with belt conveyors (40 Mty) and dispatch at the integrated Kulda Garjanbhal OCP Basundhara Area in Barpali, Odisha (Phase-I), Mahanadi Coalfields has issued an invitation for bids.

The scope of work includes the design, provision, erection, commissioning, dispatch through three SILO with rapid loading system, and 04 Mty alternative pre-weigh truck loading system of CHP with belt conveyors (40 Mty). The contract is worth 1032.28 crore rupees.

The period of completion includes 30 months including trial run, PGT and commissioning. It is to be followed by five years of operation and maintenance (O&M) during defects liability period (DLP). The last date for bid submission is 28 August, 2023.
