Larsen and Toubro (L&T) announced that it had received "large orders" in the domestic market for water and wastewater treatment.

According to a statement from L&T, the State Water & Sanitation Mission of Uttar Pradesh has given the go-ahead to build a water supply scheme for the Hanumanganj multi-group of villages in the districts of Ballia and Firozabad.

According to the corporation, L&T Construction, a division, has received significant contracts for its water and wastewater treatment business.

The company did not disclose the order value. According to the company's project classification, large orders are in the range of Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore.
