The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has been granted a 22-hectare parcel of land within the Lahore Cantonment (Cantt) area for the development of a green corridor. This initiative is part of the city's efforts to improve its urban environment and address growing environmental concerns.

The decision was made following discussions with the Lahore Cantonment Board (LCB), which has agreed to lease the land for the creation of a green space aimed at enhancing the city's air quality, promoting biodiversity, and providing residents with a much-needed recreational area.
