KP Energy Commissions 29.4MW Phase 7 ISTS Connected Wind Power Project

KP Energy has successfully commissioned an additional 29.4MW (Phase-VII) ISTS connected Wind Power Project.

This latest development comprises 14 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a capacity of 2.1MW each, situated at the Sidhpur site in Devbhoomi Dwarka.

The Phase-VII commissioning is part of the larger 250.8MW ISTS connected Wind Power Project capacity awarded to Apraava Energy Private Limited by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under Tranche-VIII bidding. KP Energy is undertaking the development of the project for Apraava Energy Private Limited as a contractor under the Land and Balance of Plant Contract.

With the successful commissioning of Phase-VII, the net cumulative capacity commissioned at the Sidhpur site now reaches 193.2MW.

This includes capacities from previous phases, totaling 52.5MW, 29.4MW, 25.2MW, 21MW, 10.5MW, 25.2MW, and now the latest addition of 29.4MW. These developments bring KP Energy closer to fulfilling the awarded capacity of 250.8MW under the SECI contract.
