Kiri Group of Companies has inked an MoU worth Rs 4,500 crore with the Gujarat govt to establish a 16.5 million tonne green fertilisers plant.
Also, Laxmi Organics Industries Ltd signed an MoU to invest Rs 710 crore in Dahej to construct a synthetic organic chemicals plant.
Ahmedabad-based Kiri Group, which is active in dyes and intermediates
chemicals production, has formed Indoasia Agrotech Fertilisers Ltd to start the
production of 'green fertilisers'.
Manish Kiri, chairman and MD of Kiri Group, said, "We have signed a Rs 4,500 crore MoU for setting up a greenfield 'Green Fertiliser' project near Pipavav port in Amreli district. Maharashtra-based Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd plans to set up a 56,000-tonne per month production capacity and a 16MW captive power plant. It will commence production in FY 2026."
