Jupiter Life Line Hospitals expects to increase its ARPOB

Infrastructure  -  Feb 18,2025  -

Jupiter Life Line Hospitals expects its average revenue per operating bed (ARPOB) to grow steadily in line with inflation.

CEO Ankit Thakur said the hospital chain does not expect any extraordinary or exponential growth in pricing but expects ARPOB to increase gradually. The company expects insurance contract revisions for its Pune hospital and other tie- ups to contribute to growth.

"They (insurance contracts) renew for the second half of this calendar year sometime. So once those get revised, definitely with change in pricing, ARPOB should get impacted positively," Thakur added.

Jupiter Life Line is also expanding its presence with a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects.

The company recently added 78 beds at its Indore facility ahead of schedule and is on track to operationalise its new 500-bed Dombivli hospital next year. The Pune facility has received regulatory approvals, with construction set to begin soon, while the Mira Road hospital is also the early stages of development.
