JRG Automotive, Japan-based Takagi Seiko form JV to manufacture parts
Automotive Industries - Sep 11,2024 -JRG Automotive Industries has formed a strategic joint venture with Japan-based Takagi Seiko Corporation to manufacture parts for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The joint venture will involve an investment of approx. USD 15 million, of which 50 percent has already been realised.
The JV facility to be based at Sampla in Haryana will focus on producing automotive components, leveraging Takagi Seiko's advanced technologies to enhance component quality for Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
This partnership combines JRG Automotive's market presence and experience in India with Takagi Seiko's technological expertise in the domain.
This collaboration will enable JRG to deliver quality premium components, also for small cars. The two companies initially entered into a technical support agreement for rotational molding in August last year. The two agreed to expand their partnership by collaborating in advanced painting technology, leading to the formation of this JV, expected to create around 500 direct and indirect work opportunities, contributing to the local economy.
Takagi Seiko's JV with JRG is part of a business strategy for strengthening domestic and international revenue bases while reinforcing its operations.
