JK Cement Expands into East India with launch of Grey Cement Business in Bihar
Building Materials - Apr 08,2024 -JK Cement has announced its entry into the East Indian market with the official launch of its Grey Cement business in Bihar.
The company marked this significant milestone with a grand launch event held at Hotel Maurya in Patna. This strategic expansion reflects JK Cement's commitment to fortifying its national footprint while contributing to the infrastructural growth and economic development of Bihar.
Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director of JK Cement Ltd said, "We are excited to embark on this journey in Bihar. In the initial phase, JK Cement aims to cover nine districts of Southern Bihar. The company is renowned for its specialized products tailored for unique applications. As part of the launch, JK Cement will introduce its flagship brand JK Super Cement in Bihar, available in durable and tamper-proof LPP packaging to cater to the preferences of the discerning Bihar market.
Madhavkrishna Singhania, Deputy Managing Director and CEO of JK Cement Limited said, "Our primary focus will be on establishing a presence in nine districts of Southern Bihar initially. With the upcoming Prayagraj plant set to commence operations, we aim to swiftly expand our reach to cover additional districts in the near future. JK Cement's strong foothold in neighboring Uttar Pradesh positions us well to serve the Bihar market effectively. Furthermore, we are actively exploring the feasibility of setting up a plant in Bihar by next year, further underscoring our commitment to the region."
