IRM Energy to invest Rs 858 crore in Tamil Nadu’s natural gas infrastructure
Chemicals - Jan 09,2024 -Cadila Pharmaceuticals Group's subsidiary IRM Energy Limited has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest Rs 858 crore investment in the state over the next five years.
This investment aims at expanding the natural gas distribution network within Tamil Nadu.
IRM Energy’s roadmap for Tamil Nadu includes the establishment of a robust Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station network and a Piped Natural Gas (PNG) distribution system.
This strategic investment is not merely a business expansion but also a step towards environmental conservation and pollution reduction.
