Hilton expands its India portfolio with flagship brand in Gurugram
Hospitality and Healthcare - May 30,2024 -Hilton has announced the signing of its flagship Hilton brand in Gurugram, part of India’s National Capital Region (NCR). In partnership with Baani Group, Hilton will develop the Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre, set to open in late 2024.
Located along Golf Course Extension Road, the hotel will be strategically positioned near key business districts, entertainment centres, and upscale developments, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Zubin Saxena, Hilton’s senior vice president and country head for India, expressed enthusiasm about deepening the partnership with Baani Group, highlighting their decade-long relationship. He emphasised that Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center will complement the vibrant Golf Course Extension Road area and contribute to Hilton’s expansion in key Indian cities. Virendra K Bhatia and Saahil Bhatia of Baani Group echoed these sentiments, noting that the new property will enhance Gurugram’s hospitality scene and reflect their shared vision for excellence and growth.
The Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre will feature 223 rooms, extensive MICE spaces, and various F&B outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a lobby bar, and a café lounge. Additional amenities will include an outdoor pool, and well-equipped business and fitness centres.
With 26 hotels currently in operation and 22 more in development, Hilton aims to expand its presence in India to 75 hotels in the coming years, reinforcing its leadership in the Indian hospitality market.
