The Gujarat government has inked 23 Memorandums of Understanding(MoUs) for a proposed potential investment of Rs. 1 lakh crore which when realised will create 70,000 employment opportunities.

On the 14th day of the MoU signing series on which 23 MoUs were signed for 1 lakh crore potential investment. So far 100 MoUs have been signed for a proposed investment of Rs. 1.35 lakh crore.

The MoUs signed on the 14th day include investment in port, power, minerals, engineering, auto, industrial parks, textile, apparel, chemicals, petrochemicals, education, agro and food processing etc sectors.

According to the government, the industrial units for which MoUs were signed on the 14 day will start operations during the 2025-2030 period at Amreli, Valsad, Hazira, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Kutch, Salaya, Morbi, Jamnagar, Dholka, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Vadodara, Mahesana etc districts.
