The Government of Gujarat signed four MoUs on October 4, ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat summit 2024, for a potential investment of Rs. 1100 crore, which may potentially produce 1190 job opportunities in the state, according to a notice provided by the State government.

MoUs were signed on October 4th in the textile, packaging, chemical, power, defence, and space industries.

SML Films Ltd signed MoU for Rs. 450 crore Poly film manufacturing unit at Ichchhapor in Surat. The unit is expected to be functional in 2024-25 and offer employment to 400 persons.

Akash Poly Films Ltd signed MoU to set up BOPP and BOPIT manufacturing unit in Bharuch district in packaging sector with an investment of Rs. 400 crore with expected generation of 400 new jobs. The unit will start by March 2025.

Supreet Chemicals Pvt Ltd will set up a chemical dyes and chemical manufacturing unit by investing Rs. 150 crore and offer employment to 150 persons. The proposed unit will be operational by year 2025.

Bestall Machining & Fabrication Pvt Ltd signed MoU for setting up Rs. 100 crore unit in Savli in Vadodara district to produce turbine parts and heavy fabricated goods(for PSP projects) that are useful in power, defense and space sectors. The unit will be operational by the end of this month and offer employment to 240 persons.
