Gujarat CM performs groundbreaking and dedicates various projects of Gujarat HC

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, along with Supreme Court Justice Suryakant, performed the groundbreaking and inauguration of various projects in the presence of Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal, Law and Justice Minister Rushikesh Patel, and other distinguished personalities.

The groundbreaking ceremony for 21 new court buildings at the Gujarat High Court marked a significant step in enhancing judicial infrastructure. 

This was followed by the foundation stone laying for an additional administrative building for staff and records, the Gujarat High Court IT Cell Building, and a new recreation center at the Gujarat State Judicial Academy. 

The event also saw the release of the GujHC Vision Document Version 1.0. Additionally, the virtual inauguration of the Digital Hybrid Hearing Platform for Family Courts with Remote Adjudication in jurisdictional taluka courts took place. 

Furthermore, an e-filing platform for Negotiable Instrument (NI) cases was launched, offering statewide access to the Remote Adjudication System (SARAS) under the Court Establishment of CJM, Ahmedabad City. The occasion also witnessed the release of Nyay Setu, the newsletter of the Gujarat High Court.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it a goal to strengthen the judiciary by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and ensuring that judicial buildings are equipped with modern technology. 

He expressed the state government’s commitment not only to building judicial infrastructure but also to providing advanced facilities to judges and court staff.
