Godrej Storage Solutions (GSS) has announced the setting up of a green facility near Chennai with an outlay of Rs 350-400 crore. The investment will be made in a phased manner over the next two to three years.

Currently, the company is operating at 75 percent of installed capacity of 90,000 tonne of steel per month, and is now looking for land.

GSS, a division of Godrej & Boyce manufactures pallets and shelves in Ambattur Industrial Estate spread over 27 acres.

Besides, GSS aims to increase its export’s volume share from the present 20 percent to 30 percent, and in revenue terms, it will grow to Rs 500 crore by FY27.
