The flagship company of the Godrej Group, Godrej & Boyce, has stated that Godrej Process Equipment plans to treble its process equipment share in the Green Hydrogen market by FY29 in response to the government's push for more sustainable energy production.

The company's goals in this area have been furthered by India's increasing commitment to accelerating the adoption of green hydrogen, achieving its audacious goal of net-zero carbon emissions, and pursuing a more sustainable and environmentally friendly economy.

Over the last few years, India has emerged as a key player in the global shift towards Green Hydrogen. The country's National Green Hydrogen Mission envisions developing a green hydrogen production capacity of at least 5 million metric tons per annum by 2030.

In line with this vision, Godrej Process Equipment is leveraging its capabilities and expertise to support the Green Hydrogen revolution through related projects and strategic investments.

The company has already successfully supplied equipment globally for Blue Hydrogen projects and received orders to supply critical Heat Exchangers for a Green Hydrogen project in the Middle East.
