Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM) has floated tender for solar power generators (SPGs) for commissioning of grid-connected distributed solar power plants for solarisation of agriculture feeders in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

The selected SPGs will implement the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance of the power plants for solarization of 44 nos agriculture feeders at 10 nos of sub-station (SS) level with capacity of 43 MW in Gescom jurisdiction totally covering 14143 Nos Of IP sets and its associated 11 kV Line to connect the plant with concerned SS and remote monitoring.

The value of the contract, to be executed on build, own & operate (BOO) basis is Rs 566.9 crore. The last date to submit the bid is 16 December, 2024.
