Toy manufacturer Funskool India has set off expansion at its manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu, moving closer to making India a global hub for toy manufacturing. With this, Funskool India would take up production of a wide range of toys including both plastic and wooden varieties. The expansion work at its premises in Ranipet, would double the manufacturing capacities.

The upgraded facilities in both Unit 1 and 2 of the manufacturing facilities is a strong investment in Funskool's production capabilities. Besides the two units at Ranipet, the company has 1.62 lakh sq. ft. of manufacturing space at its first plant in Goa. This expansion meets the manufacturing needs of rising domestic demand and exports as well.

A dedicated wing within the expanded campus is focused on the manufacturing of wooden toys, which is strategic to Funskool's growth objectives. The manufacturing facilities utilise solar energy, and ensure health, safety and managing environmental impact in all of its operations.
