Fujiyama Power Systems, a leading company in the rooftop solar segment, has acquired 24.89 hectare in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.

The Delhi-headquartered company has proposed an investment of Rs 650 crore in the Ratlam investment region to establish a manufacturing facility for solar panels, lithium-ion batteries and allied solar products.

The solar power company is anticipated to initiate production with a capacity of two GW with the proposed investment. The company manufactures solar products for residential, commercial, and industrial segments and exports to more than 10 countries.

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said, "This project will be a milestone in the state's industrial sector. Our aim is not only to promote investment but also to make the state a hub for solar product manufacturing. This will achieve self-reliance in the energy sector while ensuring environmental protection."

He assured investors that the government will provide every possible facility to them. As per the agreement, the company must complete the lease deed and take possession of the land within 60 days, stated Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC).
