A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been finalised with Fly Bharati for developing an airport in Ujjain, with an investment of Rs 750 crore during the Urban Development Session at Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025.
Union Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu emphasised Madhya Pradesh’s potential as a civil aviation hub, citing favorable conditions for training institutes and aero sports. Several significant MoUs were signed, including Air India Express launching international flights from Indore and new domestic routes.
Frankfinn Company will establish five aviation academies, creating up to 7,000 employment opportunities. "Company Pradhan Air" pledged Rs 150 crore for intrastate air services, while Inn Avia Aviation Consultant committed Rs 500 crore for an MRO facility in Bhopal.
