Everest Industries' boards and panel project set for launch in March

Everest Industries is setting up a boards and panels plant with an investment of Rs 187 crore in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. The construction of the unit is witnessing rapid progress.

The manufacturing plant is anticipated to be operational by March 2024, The new facility on a 20-acre plot in Badanaguppe-Kellambali KIADB layout, will produce 72,000 MT of fibre cement boards and 19,000 MT of Rapicon wall panels.

This highly automated plant is expected to create job opportunities for approx. 127 individuals.

Everest Industries produces fibre cement boards, considered to be the optimal substitute for natural wood and wood-based products, as it is comprised of 40 percent recycled content and offers relocatability.

Equipped with advanced machines and controls to ensure product quality, it also manufactures Rapicon Wall Panels, a drywall system enabling faster construction of interior walls compared to traditional methods.
