Energy in Motion Ltd has commenced operations at the Nhava Sheva Freeport Container Terminal, one of India’s key maritime trade gateways.
Nhava Sheva (JNPT) handles over 50% of India’s container traffic, making it critical for international trade flows.
The operationalisation is expected to enhance cargo handling efficiency, reduce congestion, and improve turnaround times.
This development supports India’s ambition to scale port capacity and logistics efficiency under the Sagarmala programme.
