Drogo Aerospace has signed an MoU with Munitions India Limited (MIL), a defence public sector undertaking, for collaboration on the design, development and integration of indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and loitering munition systems. The MoU was signed in Pune.

Under the partnership, Drogo Aerospace will handle design, development and manufacturing of UAV platforms along with associated empty-payload hardware. MIL will contribute expertise in munitions design, explosive systems, payload filling, fuzing and modular munition development.

The two companies will jointly work on subsequent development stages, including munition-UAV integration, safety evaluation, field and range trials, and quality certification.

A key component of the collaboration is Drogo Aerospace's Delta Wing Kamikaze UAV/loitering munition platform, which the company says was recently tested in Hyderabad. The platform is being designed for a mission range of up to 1,000 km and a warhead-carrying capacity of approximately 20-30 kg. The MoU with MIL is intended to strengthen the platform's munition and warhead integration capabilities as it moves toward further validation and mission readiness.
