Cytiva, a global life sciences firm, announced the launch of a new production plant and Experience Centre in Pune, India, on Thursday.

The new facility will more than increase Cytiva's manufacturing capacity in India, as well as provide vital training initiatives to accelerate the development of breakthrough treatments.

The recently opened Pune manufacturing site will create bioprocessing equipment such as tangential flow, viral filtering, and inactivation systems.

The Experience Centre will provide immersive training programmes in upstream and downstream technologies, as well as digital solutions and automation software.
