CPCL invites bids for commissioning of solar power plant in Chennai

Chennai Petroleum Corporation has invited bids for the commissioning of grid connected ground-mounted solar power plant at CPCL Aromatics Scheme Land near Polytechnic College, Amullaivoyal, Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

The scope of work includes the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of grid connected ground mounted solar plant along with associated 33 kV transmission line/underground cabling, works related to interconnection at TANGEDCO substation, metering works, and associated civil works.

The contract stipulates five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of completion of defect liability period (DLP), of 12 months from the date of commissioning of project.

The work is to be completed in eight months, at an estimated cost of Rs 48.57 crore. The last date to submit the bid is 2 August, 2024.
