Coca-Cola has chosen to increase its Telangana investments by double.
Coca-Cola has a sizable factory in Ameenpur that was built by Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), their wholly-owned bottling firm in India.
2020 saw HCCB invest 142 crore in the plant's expansion. In Siddipet district, a greenfield factory is being built.
The HCCB signed an MoU with the state government for it on April 7, 2022, promising to invest 1,000 crore.
Following a meeting with Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao in New York, Coca-Cola revealed its plans to expand in Telangana.
In order to install new lines in the under-construction plant, which is anticipated to be finished by December 2024, HCCB has committed an additional 647 crore in funding
