Blue Star has announced plans to expand its production capacity to 1.8 million units by FY26 in a gradual expansion strategy. Currently, its capacity stands at 1.4 million units.

Unveiling 150 new models of room air conditioners including 'flagship premium' range, including a flagship premium range, Managing Director B Thiagarajan stated, "We continue to make significant investments in R&D, manufacturing as well as supply chain to enhance competencies and capabilities to effectively leverage the growing demand."

The company’s Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, operational since January 2023, along with two facilities in Himachal Pradesh, are equipped with advanced automation and IoT integration. 

Additionally, 40 models of smart Wi-Fi air conditioners feature voice command technology and ‘customised sleep’ mode for enhanced user experience.
