Bihar Cabinet sanctions Rs 197 crore for infra projects in 3 districts

The Bihar cabinet gave its sanction to three roads and bridge infrastructure projects worth Rs 197.52 crore, including the construction of a road over bridge (ROB) in Patna district and two roads in Chhapra, as well as the strengthening of national highway (NH)-80 in Lakhisarai district.

Besides, the cabinet also gave administrative sanction to the construction of buildings and providing support to infrastructure facilities of two state minority residential schools—one each in West Champaran and Patna districts. Their construction will entail combined expenditure of Rs 107.12 crore.

The cabinet gave its administrative sanction to the expenditure of Rs 109.21 crore for the construction of a ROB between Dumri Halt and Pothahi railway stations in Patna district. Rs 43.40 crore was also sanctioned for the construction of two roads in Chhapra.

For the strengthening of the NH-80 between Rampur and Shringi Rishi Dham (via Sitarampur, Singarpur, Tilakkpur, Itahari and Mohanpur) in Lakhisarai district, the cabinet sanctioned Rs 44.91 crore.
