The Ministry of Road Transport & Highway (MoRTH) has floated tender for widening of new NH-106 in East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya on EPC mode.
The scope of work will broadly include widening from 2L to 2L+PS from km 21.000 to km 84.274 for a length of 63.274 km, along with resurfacing of existing bituminous surface and other miscellaneous works. Maintenance of the project is to be carried out during the defect liability period (DLP), which is of five years.
The work is to be carried out within 24 months from the appointed date, at a cost of Rs 141.78 crore. The bid submission due date is 12 July, 2024.
