A tender for the EPC construction of a new BG line in the Solapur-Osmanabad new line section of the Solapur division has been floated by the Central Railway.

The scope of work includes civil work such as platforms and protective boundaries along the alignment from Tuljapur (ch 52500) to Osmanabad (ch 83200), which includes both single-line and double-line sections, as well as earth work and the construction of major bridges, minor bridges, road over bridges (ROB) and road under bridges, limited height subways, and limited height subways.

The deal has a value of Rs 544.68 crore, and it will take 30 months to complete. The deadline for submission of bids is October 10, 2023.
