Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL) has invited bids for strengthening the inner ring of the 220 kV transmission network in Bengaluru City.
The contract, with an estimated cost of Rs 249.04 crore has a completion period of 24 months, and involves laying underground (UG) cables and related civil works, testing, and commissioning on a total turnkey basis.
The scope includes running 220 kV 1200 sq. mm UG cable from 400/220 kV Hoody to 220/66kV EDC sub-station over a route length of 13.93 km and 220 kV 1200 sq mm UG cable from 220/66kV Koramangala to 220/66kV EDC sub-station for 4.683 km.
The bid submission closing date is 14 April, 2025.
