The elevated Package BH-03 of the 27.87 km Bhopal Metro Phase 1 project has received offers from 8 construction companies, since Saturday when Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MPMRCL) launched technical bids.
This 5.34 km long civil package on the Orange Line of the Bhopal Metro is divided into two separate parts, with a total of six elevated stations situated on either side of the underground Package BH-04 (Sindhi Colony - AishBagh), for which bidding is now open.
1) Southern Section (approx. 1.62 km): Subhash Nagar Underpass Station to Aishbagh Ramp with 2 stations at PulBogda (interchange with 12.9 km Blue Line) and Aishbagh
2) Northern Section (approx. 3.72 km): Sindhi Colony Ramp to Karond with 4 stations at Sindhi Colony, DIG Bungalow, KrishiUpajMandi and Karond
MPMRCL had invited tenders for Package BH-03’s construction in April 2023 with a Rs. 647.47 croreestimate and 1092 days (3 year) deadline.
