BHEL bags Rs. 1,500 crore order from SAIL for captive power plant

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has secured a Rs. 1,500 crore order from Steel Authority of India Limited for setting up a captive power plant at IISCO Steel Plant.
The order covers engineering, procurement, and construction scope. The captive unit will ensure reliable power supply to the steel plant.
The project supports operational efficiency at the facility. Execution will proceed as per agreed timelines
