Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited has successfully obtained Environmental Clearance for its expansion project from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Rajasthan.
The clearance, granted under the provisions of the EIA Notification 2006, allows the company to expand its ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) Resin capacity up to 200,000 TPA and saleable SAN (Styrene Acrylonitrile) Resin up to 25,000 TPA, totaling 225,000 TPA, at its plant located in Plot No. SP 138-143, Ambaji Industrial Area, Abu Road, District-Sirohi, Rajasthan.
The clearance, issued on January 10, 2024, comes with a reference number Fl(4)/ SEIAA/ SEAC-Raj/ Sectt/ Projects/Cat.Bl.5(f) 8a (23677)/ 2023-24 dated 09 January 2024.
While the Environmental Clearance covers the expansion of ABS Resins and saleable SAN Resin, the company currently plans to increase the ABS & SAN capacity to 145,000 TPA by March 2026.
The clearance is contingent upon the company's compliance with the specified terms and conditions outlined in the letter.
