AVPL International has announced plans to set up a drone manufacturing facility in Bihar with an investment of Rs 15 crore. The facility, spanning 16,000 sq. ft., will be located in the Bihta Industrial Area and is designed to produce up to 24,000 drones annually.
According to the company, the project aims to go beyond manufacturing by contributing to local community development, fostering drone entrepreneurship, and enhancing skill development. The initiative is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, directly creating 200 in-house jobs and indirectly benefiting around 10,000 youth in the region.
Since its inception in 2016, AVPL International has achieved remarkable growth, expanding its footprint across more than 12 states in India. The company has also established over 70 skill and incubation hubs, further cementing its role in nurturing talent and promoting technological innovation.
"This project is more than just a manufacturing facility. It's a step towards empowering local communities, capacity building and fostering drone entrepreneurship," AVPL International Founder and Managing Director Preet Sandhuu said.
