The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) has invited bids to upgrade the SP Ring Road from four to six lanes.
This transformation will cost an estimated Rs 2,200 crore and aims to improve traffic flow and connectivity.
AUDA has divided the project into two packages. The first package, costing around Rs 848 crore, will cover approximately 37 Km in the eastern region.
Meanwhile, the second package, valued at around Rs 893 crore, will extend across 39 Km in the western region.
Moreover, authorities will widen the SP Ring Road service lanes. The existing two-lane and three-lane roads will expand to four lanes.
Additionally, the project will introduce footpaths and lush green zones, enhancing both safety and aesthetics.
