Ashoka Buildcon arm inks contract with NHAI for Rs 1,391 crore West Bengal project

Ashoka Buildcon inks contract with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a hybrid annuity mode (HAM) road project in West Bengal. 

The project involves developing a four-lane economic corridor from Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa Road section (Km 89.814 to Km 133.000) of NH 116A, under Package-3. The accepted bid cost for this project is Rs 1,391 crore.

Additionally, the company submitted a quoted bid price of Rs 1,400 crore, for another four-lane economic corridor project along the Kharagpur to Chandrakona Ghatal Road Crossing section. Both projects are slated for completion within 910 days, including monsoon period.

On November 18, 2024, the company was declared the lowest bidder (L-1) for the awarded Package-3 and the Package-1 project, which covers the Kharagpur to Chandrakona Ghatal Road Crossing section.
