At the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, APM Terminals Pipavav signed two Memorandums of Understandings (MOUs) to develop a complete green hydrogen ecosystem and develop port infrastructure.

The focus of latest MOUs will be on initiatives such as the development of the region through investment, Green Hydrogen facilities, utilization of renewable power sources, and infrastructure development, among others.

Green hydrogen is produced from water and renewable energy. It can replace fossil fuels, such as natural gas in industrial processes, as a transport fuel, as a sustainable industrial raw material and as energy storage to replace batteries.
