AP Moller Capital, JSW Infra to form JV for ports, logistics in India

AP Moller Capital and a part of the AP Moller Group will form a joint venture with JSW Infrastructure, to invest in, and develop ports and logistics ecosystem in the country. 

The two entities signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the creation of the joint venture (JV).

A P Moller Capital focusses on critical infrastructure investment within transportation and energy transition, and in February, A.P. Moller Capital opened an office in Singapore to ramp up its investment programme in South and Southeast Asia, towards over USD 750 million in capital commitment into infrastructure platforms in the region. The JV is part of the plan to enhance its transport and logistics portfolio in India.

AP Moller Group runs Maersk Line, and APM Terminals Management BV, a global container port operator. A P Moller Capital manages over USD 1.5 billion spread across 16 projects, providing investment capital to support food and mineral security, decarbonisation and others.
