Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources and IT, Nara Lokesh, laid the foundation stone for an Integrated Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) Plant, being set up by Reliance New Energy near Divakarapalli village in P.C. Palli Mandal, Kanigiri constituency, on Wednesday, 2 April.

Reliance Industries Director PMS Prasad, Reliance Industries Limited AP & TS Mentor P V L Madhava Rao, and Reliance Bioenergy CEO Harindra K Tripathi participated in the groundbreaking ceremony along with Lokesh.

Speaking on the occasion, Lokesh recalled the days of his Yuva Galam Padayatra across Prakasam district and how the people had supported the TDP.

In the last election, they elected the TDP in all the 10 constituencies. Even in 2019, when the TDP faced headwinds, the people elected the party candidates from four seats, he said.

The minister said that the NDA government, after taking over the reins in the state in 2023, has begun in right earnest fulfilling the promises it had made to the people.

Laying the foundation stone for the CBG plant is one, he said, and asserted that the state government was committed to providing 20 lakh jobs to the youth in the next five years.
