Amit Shah Lays Foundation for ₹200 Crore Alwar Dairy Plant, Inaugurates ₹6,453 Crore Development Projects in Rajasthan

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for a new dairy plant at the Alwar Saras Dairy Complex in Rajasthan, to be built at a cost of ₹200 crore.

The dairy plant will have an initial milk processing capacity of 3 lakh litres per day, which is planned to be increased to 5 lakh litres per day. Dairy processing plants and cattle feed plants belonging to various milk unions were also inaugurated during the event.

Alongside the dairy plant, four additional Saras Dairy plants worth ₹274 crore were announced for Bhilwara, Jaipur, Pali and Rajsamand. Four new Central Cooperative Banks were also inaugurated in Phalodi, Balotra, Didwana and Pratapgarh.

The dairy plant foundation was laid as part of a broader set of development works worth ₹6,453 crore that Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for across 17 districts of Rajasthan, adding to the state's cooperative-sector and dairy-processing infrastructure pipeline.
