Ami Organics (AMI) has fully commissioned a 10.8 MW DC solar power plant in Pratapnagar, Nandod, Narmada district of Gujarat, marking a key milestone in its sustainability. The facility consists of two captive solar plants, each with a 5.4 MW capacity.
The solar plant aligns with Ami Organics' strategic sustainability goals, as the company aims to reach 15.80 MW total solar capacity. The newly operational plant will significantly reduce electricity costs by meeting the majority of the power needs of Ankleshwar and Jhagadia units in Gujarat.
Additionally, Ami Organics is developing a five MW solar power plant to serve its unit in Sachin, in Surat. Once completed, the company will rely primarily on renewable energy to power its key facilities.
