AIL Dixon India to Invest ₹450 Crore in CCTV Camera Manufacturing Expansion at Kopparthy YSR EMC, Kadapa
AIL Dixon India Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its manufacturing facility at Kopparthy YSR Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of ₹450 crore.
The facility currently produces 30% of India's CCTV cameras, with a production capacity of 85,000 cameras per day, making it the world's largest CCTV camera manufacturing facility outside China.
The plant currently employs more than 6,000 people. The expansion is expected to generate over 7,000 additional jobs, further scaling up the facility's production capacity.
The investment adds to Andhra Pradesh's growing electronics manufacturing base at the Kopparthy YSR EMC and strengthens India's domestic surveillance and security-hardware manufacturing capacity, offering scope for suppliers of electronic components and camera-module inputs.
