Environment  -  Apr 01,2025  -

AGI Greenpac will establish a Rs 700 crore greenfield manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh, expanding its production capacity by 25 percent. With a planned daily capacity of 500 tonne, the plant will produce commercial glass for sectors such as alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, and food. AGI Greenpac expects the facility to be operational within 24 months. The new plant is expected to generate over 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

CMD Sandip Somany stated, “This plant will enable us meet the rising demand for tailored glass packaging solutions, providing our customers with enhanced quality products and will expand our share in the Indian container glass market.”

As one of India’s largest container glass manufacturers, AGI Greenpac's portfolio includes PET bottles, related products, and anti-counterfeiting security closures.
