Adani Airport City Ltd Plans ₹20,000 Crore Airport City Projects Across Six Airports
Adani Airport City Ltd (AACL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), has announced plans to invest more than ₹20,000 crore in the first phase of its Airport City development programme. The projects will span an anticipated 655 acres across six airports in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Guwahati.
AACL will develop approximately 22 million sq ft of mixed-use infrastructure integrated with airport terminals, metro systems and urban transport networks. The developments will include hotels, office spaces, retail outlets, entertainment facilities, convention centres and lifestyle infrastructure.
AACL has signed hotel management agreements with IHG Hotels & Resorts for five premium and luxury hotels as part of the programme, including the debut of the Kimpton brand in India. The company has stated that all Airport City developments have received LEED Gold pre-certification.
The first phase reflects continued investment in aviation-led real estate and mixed-use development across India, aiming to create integrated airport-linked urban districts with hospitality, retail and business infrastructure across five states.
