425-km gas pipeline proposed for meeting energy requirements in Tamil Nadu, Kerala
Petroleum - Jan 17,2024 -The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has proposed a 425-km natural gas pipeline to meet the energy requirement in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
The proposed pipeline will connect Petronet LNG’s import terminal at Kochi in Kerala to Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu via Kanyakumari, the regulator said in a notice seeking public consultation.
The proposed pipeline will terminate at Thoothukudi into another gas pipeline that connects with IndianOil's LNG import terminal at Ennore in Tamil Nadu.
