The Board of Directors of Ultramarine and Pigments Ltd approved the revised project cost for the Pigments Project (carried out through the fully owned subsidiary Ultramarine Specialty Chemicals Limited at APIIC Industrial Park – Naidupet, Andhra Pradesh) due to an increase in capacity.
On July 25, 2022, the subsidiary’s 1,500 MT – Phase 1 project went into operation, and the 2,050 MT – Phase 2 project is currently being carried out.
At a cost of Rs. 1,650 lakhs, Phase 2 of the anticipated additional capacity of 750 MT will be financed by a combination of equity and debt.
